Let us swear an oath, and keep it with equal mind,
In the hollow Lotos-land to live and lie reclined
On the hills like Gods together, careless of mankind…
Tennyson
A neglected garden tells its own story. Sometimes happy, sometimes sad. Almost always there is still beauty to be found.
I love a neglected garden for the hidden gems you find. Love the pics.

I often tell the people who call my small garden a jungle that you need the right attitude to be able to see beauty. As a gardener, I can see it almost everywhere, even at times when the garden really gets a bit too messy and neglected… Congratulations for the pictures, they’re very poetic.

Thank you! Yes, I think sometimes it is good for the soul, and a good rest for the eyes to get away from tight designs, and into wild abundance!
